I don't think that the state of South Carolina or its politicians and intellectuals are represented by any one person. JC Calhoun is certainly a powerful figure of state history, but many in the state might find that his views on slavery and other issues do not summarize the totality of the resident's political thought. Therefore I changed the icon for South Carolina Politician Stubs to the State Flag.Brockmanah 21:01, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
