I think it was a bad idea to make this a template and transclude it into hundreds of MediaWiki_talk pages, making WhatLinksHere practically useless for MediaWiki pages mentioned in the template. Why not make a "Help:" page and simply link it from template:Interface explanation instead of transluding? — AlexSm 03:42, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well, yes, if it's transcluded from the talk pages it should link to the talk pages. That would boldface the link on its talk page, and clear the WhatLinksHere fog in MediaWiki namespace. – wbm1058 (talk) 17:48, 2 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
