- Not done Kuching's Taschenbuch der Physik (13th ed.) gives 5.897 kg/m3 at 0 °C and 101.3 kPa, and calculations using the van der Waals equation for STP give our quoted value of 5.894 g/L. Based on this I'm inclined to leave it as it is. CRC and Lange's handbook appear to disagree, but they are not giving values at 0 °C; CRC gives a value for 20 °C and Lange's handbook gives one for "room temperature". "Molar heat capacity" must be more specificEdit
I suppose that the molar heat capacity entry is taken at "current IUPAC STP" (0 celsius, 100 kPa); but it would not harm to say that explicitly, as it is done for the phase. Or add a note that all quantities are measured at STP unless said otherwise.
Still, even if measuerd at STP, the MHC could be measured at constant volume or at constant pressure. For solids and liquids I suppose one can guess that it is constant pressure, but it does not seem obvious for gases; it seems worth specifying that too.
