Kingdom of Bohemia edit

This template (and, by extension, all other templates which invoke this template, such as FlagIOC, etc.) incorrectly links to Bohemia. It should actually be linking to Kingdom of Bohemia. Could someone please fix this? Rowing007 (talk) 14:06, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Question: To me, it seems more appropriate to link to an article on the "historical region", rather than a specific monarchy of a specific time period. Maybe I'm misunderstand the intended use of this template, though. Could you elaborate? Actualcpscm (talk) 10:13, 18 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
This template is invoked by numerous other templates, such as Template:BOH, Template:Flag, etc. The Kingdom of Bohemia is the entity that competed at the 1900, 1906, 1908, and 1912. It was not the region of Bohemia. The trouble comes when trying to link to Kingdom of Bohemia in the context of an event that requires such a specification (e.g., the Olympics). Note: this is a separate case from wanting to link to something like Bohemia at the 1900 Summer Olympics, which would simply use BOH.
Currently, the only way to achieve the desired outcome is to put: Bohemia (or BOH Bohemia). My request is that a parameter be added to this template in order to link to Kingdom of Bohemia, if desired, instead of Bohemia. Rowing007 (talk) 21:49, 20 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Uff, that is beyond my technical abilities. Leaving this open for someone else to figure out :) Actualcpscm (talk) 07:35, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
