This template is only for quotation entries that currently exist on Wikiquote and which, due to previous re-creations, are likely to be re-created in unencyclopedic form. Do not place it on every possible list of quotations. This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopaedic content.
Usage edit
- {{wq}} {{subst:longcomment}}
- Provides a soft redirect to the Wikiquote page, using the current page's name. Then it also substitutes a {{longcomment}} to prevent a page from being listed on Special:Shortpages.
