U2 by U2 edit

ALT1 ... that U2 by U2 features more than 1,500 photographs taken from U2's personal archives, and more than 150 hours of interviews?
ALT2 ... that a lottery on U2's official website and competitions on radio stations across Ireland determined the 250 winners of a signed copy of U2 by U2?
  • Reviewed: Although I am exempt as a third party nominator, I have nevertheless reviewed: Haidomyrmex ‎
  • Comment: As I'm sure any reviewer will note, this does not strictly meet time requirements (diff of move to mainspace), though it is not old. Please note from the supplementary DYK rules, that:
"D9: "Five days old" limit should be strictly enforced only if there is a large backlog of hooks. Otherwise nominated article may still be approved if it were created or expanded after the oldest date..."
This, thus, should not be rejected out of hand, but only if the hook backlog is saturated.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:29, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Moved to mainspace by Miss Bono (talk). DYK credits should be given as well to contributors: Tattoodwaitress (talk) and to Pjoef (talk). Nominated by Fuhghettaboutit (talk) at 22:29, 25 October 2013 (UTC).

  • Questionable if the Spet 23 to October 18 expansion was 5x, but per above interpretation of rules by Fuhghettaboutit, and the paucity of approved hooks for DYK, I'll accept it, though if others feel the violation of the 5-day rule is, alone, sufficient to reject this as a DYK, I shall defer to those who live higher on the food chain than moi.
Hook short enough, sourced, article is long enough, sourcing, appears free of copyvio issues, within policy. Other than late nom, no apparent issues. Good to go. Montanabw(talk) 06:51, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
