Now the problem is that it's not exactly a high catching hook anymore: it's kind of a given that there would be regular threats to the lives of drug lords (as Pablo Escobar can probably attest to). We probably need a new hook. Narutolovehinata5 ^tccsdnew 01:22, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

ALT3: ... that the rivals of suspected drug lord Rolando López Salinas leaked pictures of him to the press in an attempt to frame him?
ALT4: ... that a rumor leaked to the media led to an investigation against suspected drug lord Rolando López Salinas and his links to the police?
ALT5: ... that after an assassination attempt against Rolando López Salinas, the Tamaulipas State Police reportedly covered up the incident?

This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts for ALT1 are cited inline, and I am approving that hook, and also approving ALT0, which I like best. Striking the other hooks, not because they are bad, but because I have not checked them out. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright or plagiarism issues. A QPQ has been done.
