Nazi analogies

"Chinazi" flag
"Chinazi" flag
  • ... that Hitler analogies "did not so much join the ranks of earlier historical symbols of evil as render them unusable"?
    • ALT1:... that Hong Kong protestors have drawn analogies (pictured) between China and Nazi Germany?
    • ALT2:... that Mike Godwin has stated that not all Nazi analogies are invalid?

  • Article is completely new, easily long enough, well-cited, and within policy. I would go with the original proposal, "render them unusable", as I find it particularly interesting. I would not use the Chinazi flag, even if we were to use ALT1; unless the hook was specifically about the flag itself (which it isn't), I don't think we should put it on the main page without proper context. It is not an actual Chinese flag, after all. I think the primary hook presented is the best. QPQ is fulfilled, so this article seems ready for the mainpage. All good! ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 18:15, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
