Kevin King (American football) edit

Kevin King
Kevin King
  • ... that Green Bay Packers cornerback Kevin King (pictured) played most of his first season with a shoulder injury that left him unable to lift his arm over his head and made him dislocate his shoulder several times?

5x expanded by Church (talk). Self-nominated at 08:38, 27 January 2018 (UTC).

  • Article was expanded ~X5 this week and is well over the minimum character count, image is hosted on Commons and appears to be free of any issues. I find the first hook much more compelling. It is supported by sources in the article and the article overall seems free of any major issues. Copyvio detector rated it as “violation unlikely”. I believe the article is ready to be a DYK. Thank you for taking the time to review Beeblebrox, I'm just getting back into the editing game so it's always nice to see an old face and name I recognize. Hope all is well. Regards, --Church Talk 01:18, 28 January 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, but the article is 225 characters short of a 5x expansion. On January 5 before expansion began the character count was 1466 and as of the last edit on January 30 it is 7105. Yoninah (talk) 00:56, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
Yoninah So I just need to expand it by 225 characters and then I'll be good correct? --Church Talk 02:13, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
@Church: correct. I'm not sure how the original reviewer came up with a 5x expansion. Text in boxes and subheads aren't included in the character count. Yoninah (talk) 13:37, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
@Yoninah: more than likely they were using the DYKcheck script which is what i used and it indicated a 5x expansion. I'll go and add another sentance or two somewhere today.--Church Talk 18:06, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
@Yoninah: Expanded by over 225 characters. Let me know how we're doing. --Church Talk 00:55, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
  • @Church: I'm not sure why our character counts don't tally. I'm using this tool. It says you're at 7278 characters, which is just 52 characters short. Yoninah (talk) 20:02, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
It's weird. However I added 72 characters so we should be good.--Church Talk 00:33, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Thanks, Church. 5x expansion verified! I was about to restore the tick when I noticed that the second part of the hook doesn't have an inline cite, and is not mentioned in footnote 20, which verifies the first part of the hook. Yoninah (talk) 14:08, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Yoninah I resolved the issue. My apologies, I got my sources crossed. Thank you for a very thorough review of the article. --Church Talk 19:55, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you. ALT0 hook refs verified and cited inline. ALT0 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:51, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
