  • @Evrik: do you have any ideas on facts mentioned in the article which can be turned into a hook? feminist (talk) 04:39, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
  • I might add a preface to the current hook, something like… designed it to be wwwww, the HP21 is either yyyyy or zzzzz? --evrik (talk) 04:49, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
  • I'm not sure if this computer is "designed" to be anything special. It's unique among Android tablets for its large screen, and unique among all-in-one PCs for its operating system. HP marketed it as an all-in-one PC. feminist (talk) 07:48, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

  • I still find that hook insanely boring. The article checks out fine, but is also ...boring? Some things don't really fit DYK, and the only real thing I can think of a hook for is that the upgraded model was announced like a year after it came out, which seems pretty quick, so maybe write a hook about that. • @Kingsif: I agree that it can be hard to find suitable hooks for some topics, and that the two previous hooks are quite bland.
    • ALT2: ... that the HP Slate 21 is an Android tablet with a 21.5-inch screen?
    • ALT3: ... that the HP Slate 21 was supplemented with an upgraded model a few months after its release?
    • My preference is for ALT2, because those who have some knowledge about Android devices or tablet computers would realize the novelty/uniqueness of a super-large 21.5" tablet computer when they typically range in size between 7" and 13". ALT3 is based on your suggestion, though I don't really consider this to be hooky, considering that a life cycle of a few months is common for smartphones and tablets. feminist Wear a mask to protect everyone 19:16, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
      • Alts 2 and 3 are fine - I also agree alt2 will have wide appeal. Maybe add a convert template? Anyone who can imagine 21 inches or whatever it is in cm will realize that's like a desktop or small TV sized tablet. Kingsif (talk) 19:24, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
  • I chose to promote ALT2 rather than 2a because the inch count is standard in computers. Yoninah (talk) 23:17, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
