I have only vague memories of the series, so I can't say for certain that the following is incorrect:

"...a successful lawsuit by his uncle forced Webster to live with his Aunt Charmaine in the Cabrini-Green federal housing project of Chicago. Webster is delighted to find a job as the bat boy for the Chicago White Sox at the nearby Comiskey Park,..."

... but Cabrini-Green is nowhere near Comiskey Park. I suspect this is simply a case of someone metonymically refering to CHA projects in general by the name of a single notorious exemplar.

Chances are this actually should refer to Stateway Gardens, but not knowing this for certain, I'll only edit Cabrini-Green out and leave the statement as a general reference to "a federal housing project in Chicago." 68.252.240.252 23:06, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

The last episode of Webster has nothing to do with him being a batboy. It is entitled "Webtrek", with the story being that Webster's video game transports him as the captain of the Enterprise from "Star Trek: The next Generation."

I, also, am uncertain where the idea of the "batboy final episode" came from. Two sources online ([1], [2]) show the 150th (last) aired episode as "Webtrek". On a personal note, I was (and still am) a huge fan of the series and never once heard of or saw the "batboy" episode previously described. To the individual who cited the Chicago Sun-Times article on the history page, could you post a link to that article? Are you sure that article wasn't a parody? I am the one from the IP address 205.166.61.* that took out the final episode section referring to "Batboy". I have no recollection of that ever airing and have never read about it anywhere else.

- There's a source for the final episode and just because YOU can't remember it doesn't mean it didn't happen. This is an encyclopedia (or least tries to be one) and isn't a site for people with issues about their memories or lack thereof. Also, sign your posts. EdRooney 21:00, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

you are lying about the source. It is not in that issue at all. 100% positive. Check it yourself at your local library on some lovely microfiche. The last episode was called WebTrek where they parodied Star Trek. This is even cited in the article! -The cite for the "batboy" episode doesn't appear to be correct. Google news search between 01/01/1989 and 03/30/1989 for: Webster sun-times comes up with 36 hits, mostly a Cubs player, although there is mention of Susan Clark playing a nun in a MotW; Emmanuel Lewis Sun-times yields 3, only 1 is about the Webster guy and it just lists his birthday; Webster final episode returns 17 none from the sun-times; Webster episode returns 1 from the sun-times but it's Daniel Webster. Searching Sun-Times for 03/13/1989 yields 26 hits, none of which sound like they have anything to do with this show.Horrorshowj 13:42, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Yeah the citations that exist and are tangible point to Web-Trek being the final episode. Being that there are no tangible or viewable citations for the "batboy" thing we have to put Web-Trek as that episode.12.34.246.35 11:38, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
