Location of Walrus Island, Hudson Bay edit

Hi CambridgeBayWeather,

I noticed that you reverted my edits to Walrus Island (Hudson Bay, Nunavut). Do you know if there are two different Walrus Islands in Hudson Bay, in addition to the Walrus Island in Bathurst Inlet?

The page for the Sadlermiut mentions that they inhabited Walrus Island. The current source on Walrus Island (http://travelingluck.com/index.html) doesn't seem particularly encyclopedic, and I've found multiple academic sources on the Sadlermiut that indicate Walrus Island is located between Southampton Island and Coats Island in northern Hudson Bay (for example the publication that I cited from volume 4 of the Canadian Archaeological Association: "The Lake Site (KkHh-2), Southampton Island, N.W.T. and Its Position in Sadlermiut Prehistory" https://canadianarchaeology.com/caa/publications/canadian-journal-archaeology/4).

I don't know for sure. Besides the source given I saw that Google Earth names this one as Walrus Island and does not give the other a name. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 03:47, 30 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I dug a little deeper and discovered that there are indeed two Walrus Islands in Hudson Bay. See ^[1] for reference, which refers to the Walrus Island at 61.97°N 92.48°W (i.e. the Walrus Island from this article) as "Walrus Island, Hudson Bay" and the Walrus Island at 63.274°N 83.688°W (i.e. the Walrus Island between Southampton Island and Coats Island) as "Walrus Island, Southampton Island, Hudson Bay". Given that this source is a government document I think it makes sense to create a new page for Walrus Island, Southampton Island, Hudson Bay.
