Restoring redirect to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever edit
I'm bring this to the talk page because the last edit to redirect was reverted. I searched Google, the Newspaper Archives, and Google News. All of the results come back for the movie. Dr vulpes (Talk) 17:31, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- I agree that at this point a redirect to the film makes more sense, not least because there is very little information about the slogan at Wakanda. - Per WP:PRIMARYRED, "Wakanda Forever" could be the PRIMARYREDIRECT for this, although this would be a case of WP:RECENTISM as the catchphrase preceeded that film and has significant coverage from high-quality sources from the first film's release through the present, thus warranting its own description here. We already have the Wakanda Forever (film) redirect, so it's not like it's difficult for navigation for our readers. If we turned this into the primary redirect, we would lose easy access for that description for our readers. Trailblazer101 (talk) 18:12, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
- "Wakanda Forever" is a phrase long associated with the comic-book character, in recent years extended to the MCU version of the character. Pointing this to the sequel would be a clear case of RECENTISM. InfiniteNexus (talk) 19:13, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
