...and is about 100 km (60 mi) from British Columbia's largest city of Vancouver on the mainland. edit
It should say which direction it is 60 miles from. East?South?West?North?
Climate classification edit
From the chart, it seems like Victoria simply has a Mediterranean climate, not even close to an oceanic climate.
Precipitation starts to go down from
April, and The summers seems really dry. דולב חולב (talk) 10:09, 4 March 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed
- But I cannot bring discuss it further, the matter of oceanic/Mediterranean dispute goes back to many years ago, and since we have a classification scheme that does call it’s climate oceanic, I don’t think we need a change.
- Climbing??!

- Haha sorry you know the autocorrect of IPhone. It is very odd to me, that sometimes you’re sticking to math and accurate calculations, and sometimes you’re including common overview and stuff. דולב חולב (talk) 14:48, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- It seems like a known fact that the south of Vancouver island has Csb climate.
- Also climatic maps shows that. דולב חולב (talk) 14:50, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- @דולב חולב No, Paper GOL (as far as I've seen) always sticks to math and accurate calculations. The oceanic classification here comes from Trewartha; you can read its rules on its page. Uness232 (talk) 18:00, 6 March 2024 (UTC)

Victoria’s climate edit
@Uness232 I think it’s important to highlight that Victoria is the warmest city on average. דולב חולב (talk) 08:37, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, but not everything belongs in the first sentence. Also please see MOS:OVERLINK; "city in Canada" does not need a link. Uness232 (talk) 16:07, 6 March 2024 (UTC)
- I can agree with you on the Canadian cities.
- so can we mention that Victoria is the warmest city on average? דולב חולב (talk) 04:39, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- With a source, yes. Uness232 (talk) 18:58, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
