DWB, I'm glad to see your work here. As per the above checklist, I do have some insights that I think will be useful in improving the article. Can you provide inline citations for the following?

  • "The final issue sees Brock recover some memory of his history with Spider-Man; he had lost his knowledge of the hero's secret identity in the Spider-Man/Venom single issue (December 1997)."
  • The first paragraph of the Venom (2003–2004) section: "An eighteen-issue monthly series … the clone ravages its hosts and kills the outpost crew."

Besides that, I think the article looks excellent. All the best,   --Seabuckthorn  21:19, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Done the two requests above. Thanks for taking the time to review it! DWB (talk) / Comment on Dishonored's FA nom! 22:42, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The article was reviewed in 2014, and it may have been a good article back then. However, now it is clearly outdated. There was a new comic book in 2016, the original Venom returned, two Venom-related crossovers (Venomverse and Venomized), a crossover with X-Men Blue between them, and yet another comic book in 2018, which redefined the nature of the symbiotes. This isn't just one or two sentences, but at least two sections worth of information. Unless it is updated, the article should not be listed as a good article.
