Potential confusion with Unix File System? edit

People could potentially come across the UFS filesystem, try searching for 'ufs', find this page, and mistake it to be about the filesystem. (I did.)

Would a "not to be confused with" template of some sort be helpful. If so, what would be the best template, or the best way of phrasing that?

The best I can think of would be something like: "This article is about the flash storage interface specification. For the filesystem with the same initials, see Unix File System".

This is a real issue. People are confusing the two initialisms and not realizing there are two rather distinct technical things with the initials "UFS" (got a report elsewhere). 207.172.210.101 (talk) 06:38, 12 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
Done. It sounds like you want the {{Distinguish}} template, so I added it as a WP:Hatnote. --DavidCary (talk) 21:19, 18 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
