I wondered why the unever bars used to be closer together and now they are moved farther apart? I liked the way the gymnasts used to be able to bounce from one bar to another the way the closer together bars used to be.

I think the reason is that gymnasts got bored with doing the same old, same old, and wanted to do giants, baby giants, flyaway layouts, etc.

Grips

"Gymnasts are permitted to tape their hands or use grips or hand guards on bars."

Is there any difference? If there is, then I should adjust the article hand guard, where is stated, that "hand guards" and "grips" is the same. Cmapm 15:00, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Female Only

Uneven Bar Heights

I noticed that the heights for the uneven bars has changed. According to the Apparatus Norms 2011 version from F.I.G
