Clara is human edit

The phrase "alien time traveller the Doctor and his companion Clara Oswald" gives the impression, to a naive reader, that Clara is also an alien, so instead of the former, I wrote "alien time traveller the Doctor and his human companion Clara Oswald". The word "human" has been removed, apparently on the basis that other articles also have the former wording. That's not a good reason to revert, and in any case, those other articles can also be similarly improved. We need to remember that many people reading these articles are not familiar with in-universe conventions, and - as WP:INUNIVERSE reminds us - write accordingly. You're wrong here, we are writing accordingly. The "alien time traveller" is exceptionally obvious in the fact that it applies only to the Doctor, as it is the "alien time traveller the Doctor" and "his companion Clara Oswald". Two separate phrases, with the alien descriptive being applied to only the former, not the latter. The alien descriptive does not apply to both, as you believe. No,. I'm not wrong; and nothing you say shows that I am. You're clearly writing from the PoV of someone very familiar with the series (and as the editor who removed the word in question). Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:21, 11 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
But technically is Clara human in any real sense?? Wasn't she just created in some way to protect the Doctor from The Great Intelligence through out his many lifetimes?? Can she really be called human at all??86.5.134.132 (talk) 01:08, 1 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
