In which case I will add more information. The intention here is to create an article for each of the (former) commonwealth realms, of which Uganda was one. I think you'd need to reference some sources for that approach, and they would need to show the existence of the "Dominion of Uganda" as a notable entity and support what the article says about it. It should also be linked from the History of Uganda (1962–71) article (just as any other "Dominion of..." articles should be sourced and linked from their relevant history articles too.) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:50, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

• As it happens I lived in Uganda in the late 1960s. I never heard the term "Dominion of Uganda" used to describe the country although of course it may technically have been a dominion, but the History of Uganda article implies otherwise. At best this article is misleading and confusing and of course a content fork. andy (talk) 00:20, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

-again; this was a mistake on my part. The term 'dominion of -' to describe a commonwealth realm was not used after 1948. -also, it's not intended to be a content fork. There are thousands of articles on historical states on wikipedia; should these be taken off as well? Do we delete 'Nedic's Serbia', 'Nazi Germany', the ' French Empire', the 'Kingdom of Serbia'? Referencing

The referencing of the article is not improved by removing one source and replacing it with a worse one, see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources#Questionable and self-published sources. DrKay (talk) 08:15, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
