Captain Marvel?

I detected a mistake in the article. Captain Marvel never fought Tyrant, it was his son, Legacy (Genis-Vell), the one who confronted Tyrant along with Thanos and the others. Herald?

Whatever he wants, from the look of the marvelunapp profile - not the usual power cosmic, but enough power drawn from different worlds to challenge the big names of the MU. It does need some detail on the page, doesn't it... --Mrph 07:38, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Immortality

Can anyone confirm that he is in fact immortal? I haven't read it anywhere else and I'd be interested in knowing how he became immortal. He battled Galactus in his original form when the universe was still young, which I take to mean millions possibly billions of years past between that battle and his modern day resurfacing. Well, a potentially unlimited life span is a form of physical immortality. There is always something that can kill any character, even those who are purported to be immortal or even omnipotent. TheBalance 20:11, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

SHB abilities/powers listing

Why the reverts on the abilities listing? I believe the revised version is more uniform, more defined and equally as brief. I personally find the linked version more aesthetically pleasing as well, although that is only my personal opinion. Like the Thanos page there are reverts with no dialog, attempts for discourse on the Thanos page have been ignored for some time now.

The idea for the fully linked abilities listing came from viewing the Superman article, which I found to be more informative and aesthetically pleasing than the abilities listings found on most comic book related articles. Since Superman is the only comic book character I know of that has an entire entry dedicated solely to his various superpowers I linked the next best thing — List of comic book superpowers.

Linking the SBH power list to another article that actually hardly really explains the different powers that are said, is incredibly pointless. The power list is just to describe his powers, that are meant to be, and are, explained in the section below. — DCincarnate 18:14, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Terms such as superhuman strength, immortality, and energy manipulation are not defined in the powers and abilities listing, nor should they be. Even on this talk page above there is some confusion over the technicalities of immortality that is explained in sufficient detail in the List of comic book superpowers article. That is the precise reason the article exists, unless you can provide a sufficient reason not to link the article please desist in reverting the changes. Manssiere 15:20, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

How about the fact that I follow per Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/Superherobox example. No one is invulnerable btw. When someone comes to check out of a character, like Tyrant's power and abilities, they want to know what he can do. Not what terms such as energy manipulation mean. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/Superherobox example has a linked abilities listing. If a person comes to check out a character and sees that "Energy Manipulation" is one of Tyrant's abilities you don't think a clarification of what that term actually means would be helpful? That is a rather incredible assertion.
