This article stated "Only after accident-site souvenir-hunters' discovery of the aforementioned RMI . . ." The Fluxgate Compass which supplied the data to the RMI in the cockpit was found by persons involved in the rescue / recovery team who had returned to recover and bury human remains not initially recovered. Their effort was mounted onMay 14. This information is included in the book "The crash of TWA Flight 260" by one of the recovery group not a "souvenir hunter. Need sources for claims edit

I have removed some facts that I was unable to find sources for. If sources can be provided that back up the claims, I would have no issue adding the information back in. For now though, I am removing the claims.

Removed claims:

- The fact that Captains widow was receiving death threats.

- The fact that pilots were complaining about malfunctioning RMI units. Bpkuhlm (talk) 21:26, 11 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Correction - after more research, I found a source that backs up Jean Spong did get harrased, but not death threats. I updated the information and added a citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bpkuhlm (talkcontribs) 21:41, 11 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
