Am I too fanciful??? edit
Someone added the following text at the end of the plot description:
"I saw the film many years ago on British Television and I became convinced the character of Cambreau was an allegorical reference to Jesus Christ, by his actions and willingness to take punishment for the others. Am I too fanciful ?"
