Notability edit

Bickerstaff's book "Lines in the Sand" is notable at the very least and will become a major starting point for those wanting to know what happened in Texas during the 2003 rounds of redistricing. I have used the book as a source in several Wiki articles related to this topic; it seems prudent to begin a more authoritative article about the author. Although the article is barely a stub, I try to substantiate it with at least a couple of sources. There is much more to be written here, and the article should remain until the time comes to do just that.

Alright, you've said that the article will be expanded further on. Fair enough.
There are no other articles linking to this one, except for the one on his book. Please have a look and introduce links from relevant articles whenever possible.

This article should be nominated for deletion. Not notable. University professors only at rank of full professors are notable according to the Wiki guides. Adjunct professors are not professors. They are professionals teaching part time or rarely. This person is an attorney. Only some attorneys are notable. He is not notable based on the criteria. Authorship of a book rarely cited or published with a minor publisher does not make the author notable. Topjur02 (talk) 16:27, 5 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
