The result of the move request was: no consensus. There are some tentative suggestions that some other name might be better, but there's insufficient agreement right now. - Oppose a move to that title in particular. It does look like the article title should be updated to reflect the 2019 restructuring; but I don't think a long untranslated form is appropriate, and WP:UE seems to agree that even a novel translation would be preferable. I can't quite pick apart Türkmendenizderýaýollary well enough to suggest an appropriate English alternative, though. (Something like Türkmen "Turkmen" + deniz "sea" + derýa "river" + ýol "way" + -lar PL + -y 3SG.POSS?)
- Regardless, we should probably ensure that this article, Turkmen Seaways, and Türkmenderýaýollary (Turkmen Riverways) are all consistently named. Possibly by merging the latter two articles into this one. —Twice Nothing (talk) 02:34, 5 September 2021 (UTC)

- Oppose. No claim has been made that the proposed title is the common name in English, let alone evidence offered. Only primary sources have been cited, which of course tend to follow the official name but are of little relevance. There may be a better name but any move needs to be justified in terms of the article title policy. Andrewa (talk) 16:44, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
