Talk:Soviet Cup

The Soviet Union ceased to exist in 1991, and history of the Soviet Cup ends on the same year. Many non-Russian clubs simply did not participate in 1992. Thus the final of 1992 should not be included in overall statistics !!! To be on the safe side, the Cup of 1992 should be considered not as the Soviet Cup, but the Cup of CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States).Morkva 15:39, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well, Spartak's website suggests they won the USSR Cup in 1992. [1] Conscious 13:22, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
