Thank you for your work Chairman. SPM has been an article with constant problems. The previous version was subject to much vandalism and recently was deleted due to copyright infringement. I agree, no article would have been better than the gibberish that graced this page earlier today. I hope someone with some knowledge (and sources) can write a NPOV article about him, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Well I didn't have a problem with this article. But there is one problem that I did see...um what year was he really born on. It's written as 1970 and then under his picture it's written as 1971. But other than that this was some good writing and even though I don't really know about this guy very much my boyfriend does and it's really hard to make judgements on this fellow but I know that middle school girls and even high school girls did look a lot older at that time. I was one of them. And it's a shame that, from what I read, it doesn't look very fucking good like he got a fair trial. But to those who did down play this article I don't think that the writter was trying to make him look bad at all. He was telling his story and in my opinion I thought it was very educational for my Mexican community. He tried to get out but like always jealousy gets the best of every situation. Women can be very vindictive and envious especially if you are doing better than them. But those girls and their mothers if they did put them up to it, will get their karma if they were lying. Let's Get On Subject

Don't get me wrong I like SPM and I do believe that he is unjustly in prison, not the little girl's fault but due to Coy's extended family that is getting revenge on him for not sharing in his success, but Wikipedia is not a discussion board it is an online information source so unless we have relevent verifiable info to add on this article, let's keep the Free SPM quotes off this website and talk about it elsewhere. 70.132.144.198 (talk) 03:12, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

I have one problem with this article. Why not just have it say "Carlos Coy, better known by his stage name South Park Mexican, is a Houston-based rapper. His stage name is derived from the South Park neighborhood in Houston, Texas where he was raised." or something similar to that? I see no need for him to be label a child molester off the quick description at the top of the page. The article goes on to have a section where it talks about the case and incarceration anyhow. Because Micheal Jackson has not been convicted. Also, he is arguably more well known for his molestation arrest than his music, as his music career is mostly local. Introduction

Theres no reason to start this artice with "...is a rapper and convicted child molester." I think its completely inappropriate. When I search rappers such as Zro i don't see the article beginning with "Zro is a rapper and convicted drug drealer." When i look up T.I. i don't see the introduction starting off as "T.I. is an american rapper and a 7 time felon." Now i am not AT ALL against adding information about his conviction but I'm saying theres no need for it in the introduction, just as thats not included on other rapper's wiki pages it shouldn't be included here. Also, this whole article is very bias and highly suggest that SPM did in fact commit the crime when no one really knows but himself. I'm against bias reporting wether it be "SPM didn't commit the crime free SPM!!!" or it be an entire article that sounds like something the little girls lawyer came up wtih. How so? Only two paragraphs mentions the allogations, and the main one only mentions the nessesary facts, what he was on trial for, the circumstances, conviction and sentence. Many of them also use other terms to describe the individuals, including "convicted child sex offender", "convicted American child molester", "convicted American serial killer and child molester", "marred by a criminal conviction for child sexual abuse", "convicted sex offender", and so on. I am sure that if I were to look at Category:Convicted sex offenders, you would see the same trend. The openings are not the same because there is no corroboration between them. I can see where the concern lies, but consider that child sex offender is a legal term, and many times it is appropriate to use them. The same can be said for Serial Killer, rapist, or a dictator (See: Hitler, which is used as an example of NPOV). I will however open a discussion on WP:BLPN. At the side section it said he was born on October 5th, 1970 but at the the top it says October 5th, 1971. it also states at a case in 2001 he was 21. Carlos Coy was not born on November 5th. On his album entitled " Never change" track 3, "Habitual Criminal" he says he is a Libra born in October. spm didn't do shit to no 9 year old,it was just some broncas he had with his friend's wife.the nine year old girl is the daughter of billy and maribel stout,wich are spm's friends.maribel,had some weird shit going on with spm and she threathened spm to give her some money or else she will tell his husband about some bad shit.then maribel convinced spm to let her daughter have a sleep over with spm's daughter and he agreed.in the middle of the night,the girl got sick and spm had to take her home.he dropped her off and went inside to talk to his friend billy.meanwhile maribel was making a plan on getting spm's money so she called the police and told them that spm had toched her daughter innapropietly.he was sent to a trial and lost the case and got 45 years in the can.he got this big number for an assault with a 14 year old.this did happen even though it wasn't his fault.the 14 year old girl had an fake ID and was working as a stripper she looked 18 and had an ID to prove it(wich was fake).since spm was clueless about this,he made his special move on her.this is exactly how it happened,well i didnt list the details like,when he went inside his friends to talk and eat some pozole,i figured it wasn't important.FREE CARLOS!!
