Songs Cut/Replaced? edit

Was "All I Do Is Dream of You" replaced with "I Got a Feelin' You're Foolin'"? Also, "I Cried for You" was cut during tryouts.--98.226.9.223 (talk) 12:35, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Singin' in the Rain (musical)Singin' in the Rain (broadway) – There is another musical Singin' in the Rain, but it is a musical film. Broadway is less ambiguous than musical because there are two musicals. --George Ho (talk) 15:33, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose; "musical" is the standard disambiguating term. See, for example, Xanadu (musical). Powers T 19:27, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. The musical film is already currently the primary topic of "Singin' in the Rain", so I am not convinced that more precision is needed on this page. In addition, using "Broadway" as the word in parentheses would be inaccurate and confusing since it was originally a West End production, not solely a Broadway production. • Oppose, confusion could be alleviated by use of a hat-note. Nikthestoned 11:13, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment: What about changing it to Singin' in the Rain (stage)? --George Ho (talk) 13:37, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose, not only is Singin' in the Rain clearly the primary topic here, but it also wouldn't receive "(musical)" in parentheses, but "(film)", thus, there'd be no conflict. --The Evil IP address (talk) 16:02, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
