Formic and Acetic acid? edit

Hi, is anyone watching here? I think we should remove formic and acetic acid from the list at the top of the article. See this post I made at the reference desk [1], as well as this definition from IUPAC [2]. The definition of fatty acid is obviously a bit loose, but I don't see how formic acid or acetic acid (or even propionic acid) can be said to fit the definition given at fatty acid. The IUPAC page states that the term fatty acid is sometimes used to embrace all acyclic aliphatic carboxylic acids. As such, it's not entirely incorrect to refer to small aliphatic carboxylic acids as fatty acids. --IO Device (talk) 05:54, 22 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
