Talk:Sedum

A good addition to this page would be a section about low-lying Sedum varieties that can be used as a grass replacement (no need to water and mown it all the time). Anybody knows enough about that to give it a shot? --MikeCapone 18:22, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Edibility edit

The Sedum reflexum species has a slightly astringent sour taste; in Europe (and United Kingdom) it is used in salads and eaten as a vegetable occasionally.

I added this; anyone else able to verify it?? --LiverpoolCommander 10:02, 19 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Done. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 10:06, 19 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wrong redirect edit

Sedum reflexum redirects to this page. It should get its own page, and Sedum rupestre schould redirect thereto. Dysmorodrepanis 12:01, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sedum album? edit

I removed this image from Sedum album as it doesn't look as if it is the same species as in the taxobox. If you know what species it is please move it accordingly. Thanks Smartse (talk) 13:56, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sedum Angelina edit

Usually I am able to find a lot of species, common and uncommon on wikipedia. I have a species of
sedum that I have identified (by multiple sources), to be Sedum Angelina. This species is not confirmed by
wikipedia, only because the species is NOT listed. Sedum Angelina should be added by someone with a lot
more "expertise." Znoec (talk) 06:20, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Could it be the cultivar Sedum rupestre 'Angelina'? --82.40.89.223 (talk) 22:50, 9 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

sedum multiceps edit

I believe the s.multiceps (aka [Pygmy|Dwarf] Joshua Tree) should also appear here.
