Contains unreliable source(s), does not meet WP:NSONG, did not chart. Also contains original research. Without delving too much into GWing, none off the sources that continue to be provided say anything about alternative R&B. That aside, much of the song's content can be incorporated into the 808s & Heartbreak album article under Music and lyrics, where it's unmentioned. Similar to Bad News, the information regarding live performance at Hollywood Bowl can be used in a separate article designated for the concert. Considering the amount of coverage the concert seemed to have received, and reviews from published by verifiable sources that have individuals have taken the time to gathered here along with the fact that its has its own page at Wiki Commons, quite odd the concert (which I think meets notability standards) doesn't have a Wikipedia article.

Will review this as soon as I get school and graduation out of the way. Shoot for the Stars 💫 (talk) 22:28, 23 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Background and recording edit

I think the "Outside of the song, English musician Mr Hudson co-wrote fellow 808s & Heartbreak track "Street Lights" and contributed a feature to "Paranoid" sentence should come way later as this would be confusing to readers who don't know anything about Kanye or his songs. What song are you talking about when you say "outside of the song"?

It is only referring to Mr Hudson's contributions to songs on the album, which is already introduced as being by West in the lead... plus background for musicians is supposed to come first in this section. Change the song to "Say You Will", though. --K. Peake 08:33, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Music and lyrics edit

  • musicOMH does not say the song has "synth-pop production" but the rather the whole album.
  • It says that the song sets the tone for the album's synth-pop production. --K. Peake 08:33, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Release and reception edit

This part "The song was met with generally positive reviews from music critics, mostly being identified by them as an album highlight" needs to be referenced.

  • The guideline about combining multiple points to reach a conclusion not explicitly stated by them does not apply when its a reception section, as it can be seen how much of the reviews are positive/negative so you can write that. --K. Peake 08:33, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

References edit

  • copyvio score says it's 95.8% from some bs [1] website! Lets just ignore that crap. The score is below 40% and looks fine.
  • This link is not working.
  • The GA criteria says that dead links do not prevent a pass; this especially applies here because I've added an archive. --K. Peake 08:33, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Overall:   The GAR threw me off since there's no formal "confirmation" from the reviewer that it passed, but it looks like they updated the talk BannerShell to signify it did so we should be good. Copyvio check raises a massive red flag for some sort of spam website that copy/pasted this article. Nothing anyone can do about that, but just a note if anyone decides to check for themselves. Thank you for reviewing this so soon after its nomination; I will say that as someone whose seen the reviewer's contributions on various occasions, they have a habit of passing reviews after the response without leaving any further comments on the page. K. Peake 06:06, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
