Comment edit

Regarding the trivia section: what precisely is a "premier criminal organization?" How - economically or statistically - do we determine what one might be? Have they joined the chamber of commerce, branched out into r&d at Research Triangle Park, started throwing venture capital $ around, or otherwise become innovative? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Davidals (talkcontribs) 02:28, August 20, 2007 (UTC).

Education section edit

For the schools section, please only list those that are actually in the city. Or at the very least, those that primarily serve a lot of students in the city. This is an article about Salisbury, not the whole of Rowan County. Thank you -- JoannaSerah (talk) 14:54, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm looking up the school districts, but if there are still some that are listed that don't really serve the city, please take them out as well. -- JoannaSerah (talk) 15:04, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

It looks like I'm the only one commenting, even though IPs and others keep adding some schools back in after I've taken them out. Now that an article has been created for Rowan–Salisbury School System, do we even need to list the public schools like that? Shouldn't the main redirect suffice? I didn't want to simply delete them all without asking, but I probably could per WP:BOLD. Thank you. -- JoannaSerah (talk) 06:46, 17 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • I will say that the addition on fiber being run to homes might be news, but it doesn't look like encyclopedia material in the least. We don't "report" happenings here, we documents facts that are encyclopedic in nature. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 12:53, 3 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Goverment Section edit

I work for the City of Salisbury and have been asked to edit the Government Section to remove referral to City Manager Doug Paris who has had his contract with the City terminated and is no longer employed. Here is an article confirming his departure in the Salisbury Post http://www.salisburypost.com/article/20140618/SP01/140619714/0/SEARCH&slId=16 Until a new city manager can be named we would like to remove reference to Mr. Paris. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kbake1122 (talkcontribs) 01:03, 29 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
