@Gerda Arendt According to pl:Zbigniew Sawan, he had a role in the older Cyrano de Bergerac's opera. Coincidence? Perhaps. Need to dig more, it's a bit hard. A number of sources mention the director Zbigniew Sawa in passing, but I can't find anything in depth. Could indeed be just someone else (a director), possibly notable, with the name very similar to that actor. pl:Encyklopedia teatru polskiego has an entry on Sawan, but not Sawa (but does mention Sawa in few places). _{Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here} 01:22, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
