  • ... that the footballer Romeo Beckham was released by Arsenal, trained in tennis with Andy Murray, and returned to football by joining his father David's MLS affiliate in Fort Lauderdale? Source: Givemesport SCMP ESPN

  •   Article is new, long enough and neutral. It cites sources inline. The ref #2 does not support the replacement of the tennis cort with a football pitch. Did I oversee it? I can not access ref #6. The playing time in his debut is givin as 79 minutes by ref #7. "Earwig's Copyvio Detector" complains about 20% text similarity in the lede. The hook is well-formatted and interesting. Its length is within limit. Its fact is accurate with inline citations. QPQ was done. Approval will follow the addressing of above mentioned issues. • @CeeGee: It's in the SCMP source where it says "the tennis court has since been bulldozed and replaced with a football pitch to match the teen’s latest sporting ambitions.". As for Earwig, it looks to me like a false positive from a text dump on some random blog site. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 16:59, 28 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • I AGF for the phrase of the sport place change. The issues with the Earwig's complain and the playing minute are not addresses so far.CeeGee 09:52, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • @CeeGee: As I said, the Earwig is a false positive. This article was nominated ont he 20th, the text dump on that blog was done on the 22nd. They clearly just copied Wikipedia. I have removed the minutes claim. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 14:54, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
  •   OK, I see. Everything is fine now. Good to go. CeeGee 15:49, 29 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Youth career edit

Is there any reliable sourcing for Beckham's youth career that supports his official inclusion in the LA Galaxy and Paris Saint Germain youth systems? I can find a few references to him and his brothers "training" with PSG and the Galaxy temporarily and unofficially, but very little that suggests he/they ever signed contracts with the clubs. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help. Anwegmann (talk) 03:28, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Brentford B edit

As Brentford B are not an official team, just a youth team of Brentford FC, why would Romeo Beckham be treated any differently than say Wrexham‘s Sam Dalby when he signed for Watford’s youth team? Surely the side he plays for is Brentford, with apps and goals at 0/0? Paulofthebakers (talk) 17:44, 18 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

There is absolutely no reason Brentford B to be listed in senior career. Like almost every other player article, it should be Brentford listed in youth career, as he is still U21 and is youth player, or list Brentford in senior career with 0/0 matches like Tom Huddlestone, Paul McShane (footballer) and many many more. Lets decide which way is better and end this edit drama. 85.187.46.96 (talk) 07:49, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I added the discussion to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football#Romeo Beckham since that page is more visible. RedPatch (talk) 14:36, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
I tend to agree. Anwegmann (talk) 20:18, 4 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
