Kirghiz vs. Kirgiz vs. KyrgyzEdit

A group of editors on Talk:Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic recently arrived at a consensus for the transliteration of the name of this country: Kirghiz for Soviet-era uses, and Kyrgyz for post-1991 uses. WP articles have been edited/moved accordingly. Bry9000 (talk) 18:49, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
