Re: " Among other students at Poitiers were Achille de Harlay, President de Thou, the poet Joachim du Bellay, the chronicler Brantome Descartes, François Viète the mathematician, and Francis Bacon." This sentence seems not to pertain to 'Diocese of Poitiers'. It may be relevant to 'City of Poitiers' or 'University of Poitiers', but I do not see the connection to the diocese, nor is any connection stated. Should it be excised? I also have concerns about the sentences having to do with the University of Poitiers, but they may merely need more verbiage to show the relevance. --Vicedomino (talk) 02:35, 13 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
