Truly aboard USS Intrepid edit

In the article USS Intrepid (CV-11) it has that the USS Intrepid served as the recovery ship for Aurora 7, May 24, 1962. I'm wondering if Truly was aboard at this time. How ironic would it be if he was? Anyone have any more info about Truly's military career? Rocketmaniac 02:15, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
