Potentially changing the infographic photo edit

The article claims that a large part of Torres' fame comes from photos of him "posing with AK-47s". While I don't want to get into a debate over the exact meaning of "AK47" and how the term may or may not be misapplied, it is clear that the photo used in this article of Torres does not contain anything remotely similar to an AK-pattern rifle. I would suggest changing the photo of Torres to one where he is holding an AK47 instead of the polymer battle rifle he's holding in the current photo. • @Chess: Hi, thanks for coming to the talkpage. The source says he had a lot of pictures with AK-47s, though I'm sure the writer who said this is no expert in "assault rifles". AK-47s are the most common weapons used by drug gangs in Mexico. I personally chose this picture because it was his clearest and most recent one. In most pictures available online, he isn't standing alone, isn't facing straight at the camera, or is just way too young to even make sense to include it here. I wanted to capture him at around the time he died. From what I've read, he was 18 when this picture was taken. I'm OK with rephrasing the text to say "assault rifle" instead. • @MX: Perhaps "firearms" would be a better term, as the photo of him in the article you linked appears to show him holding something too short to be a rifle or a carbine. I agree with you on all your points, though. Grognard Extraordinaire Chess (talk) Ping when replying 21:22, 22 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Chess: Got it. Thank you for the suggestions. I've updated the article accordingly. MX () 21:40, 22 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
