Philip J. Fry named after? edit

I just caught this: the main character of Futurama is called Philip J. Fry. Did the writers intend to name him after Corso? Have Groening or Cohen said anything about this? Cromulent Kwyjibo (talk) 17:58, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is well known that the "Philip" part was named in memory of Phil Hartman, who played many characters from The Simpsons. 60.240.37.246 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 22:09, 28 November 2008 (UTC).Reply

Coast to Coast am edit

The July 3, 2010 rebroadcast of the Corsi Coast to Coast interview was on "Art Bell: Somewhere in Time," which precedes the normal C2C broadcast. See: http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2010/07/03/art Davidnoss (talk) 11:02, 17 October 2010 (UTC)davidnoss 17-oct-2010Reply

Lt. Col. Corso had a very distinguished military career. It is not objective to stub him as a "paranormal researcher." His book is very important, but it looses serious relevence without an objective explanation of his career. This page must stay, but let's take much of the "Ufologist" stuff out, and add all the details of his actual life. <3 Captain Barrett 21:22, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

"His book is very important, but it looses serious relevence without an objective explanation of his career. " So an appeal to authority counts as valid? If he was in the military or not has nothing to do with his story being credible or not! --OneLowDat (talk) 07:03, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Biased sentence edit

"Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell where he spoke live about his Roswell story." Then "Corso died of a heart attack less than a year later." As if it had anything to do with it, which is what alien conspiracy fans claim! His death does not belong there. --OneLowDat (talk) 06:59, 6 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
