Historical sources, please? edit

This documentary at the Smithsonian Channel has his history a bit different, in that he married in 1573 while at the court of France, where his bride was picked by Catherine de' Medici, the Queen Mother. Gonsalvus and his wife and children later moved to Parma (northern Italy), to live under the patronage of Duke Ranuccio Farnese.

The program also shows a historian named Roberto Zapperi, who has written a biography of Gonsalvus. --Jerome Potts (talk) 23:55, 19 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also, Gonsalvus and his wife had 2 male children who were not hairy and were ignored by the royals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.106.46.59 (talk) 02:23, 15 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
