Merge Harward Uni section edit
Please merge the content under Harward University section into another appropriate section. It is a one-liner and I don't think it would need an entire section for it. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:45, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Birthdate sourcing edit
There have been a few discussions in the past (in the archives) about the birth date. @Singupuramtown has put up an affidavit as a reference which is a BLP violation under WP:BLPPRIMARY and should be removed promptly. Do we know which one is correct among 1971 or 1969 or 1968 or other? — DaxServer (talk to me) 10:24, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
1968 is correct and he completed his ssc in 1984 at the age of above 14 Singupuramtown (talk) 11:49, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- That's original research and speculation. — DaxServer (talk to me) 11:58, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Election Commission website is not used for reference? Singupuramtown (talk) 11:50, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- Election affidavit is WP:BLPSELFPUB source because its self-declared. The issue, however, is that the age is incosistent with many reliable sources which say he turned 50 in 2021 (India Today, The Hindu, IE, Eenadu). If we are mentioning the age as per the election affidavit, we should also point out that its reported differently by other sources. -- Ab207 (talk) 12:39, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ah okay. In that case we shall add both the dates? I think we did that in other article, I don't remember which. I still wonder why all other sources aren't using the 1968 from the affidavit and instead are using 1971. — DaxServer (talk to me) 08:46, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- There's Category:Age controversies for such cases, its not uncommon. We can display 1968 and explain the discrepancy as a note. Because the declared age is is higher, we can reasonably assume that it's correct. -- Ab207 (talk) 13:47, 30 September 2021 (UTC)

I hope there is some end to the ongoing edit war changing the year back and forth — DaxServer (talk to me) 07:25, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
- Since this is WP:BLP and sources conflict with WP:RS taking priority over WP:BLPSELFPUB, I've removed the year — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:21, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

Konidela Kalyan Babu name source for Babu edit
- @Ab207:, @DareshMohan, @Kailash29792:, @DaxServer: Can someone please tell from where do we have sources with birth name as Babu ? and why are we finding it extremely difficult to understand that popular names published in sources which are mirroring wikipedia articles. Babu is a nick name in Telugu as in Sobhan Babu, and Mohan Babu. Why are we illogically mixing screen names as credited in titles with birth names.
Fostera12 (talk) 02:48, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Fostera12 The source is cited in the infobox.
- He was credited with his birthname Konidela Kalyan Babu in his debut film. Then changed his name to Pawan Kalyan from the second film onwards. -- Ab207 (talk) 17:14, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Ab207:. In his debut film, He was credited in the titles as just Kalyan, not kalyan babu. There is no babu in credits. I just checked. This issue is not about Pawan Kalyan, this we all know. This issue is about Babu. And I request you not to indulge in edit war without consensus from other editors, as there is no source on babu. The source you are talking about is related to birth details.
- Fostera12 (talk) 16:08, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
That is mirroring of wikipedia yaar, we cant accept that Fostera12 (talk) 17:02, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
But this issue is plain mirroring of wikipedia, and Babu is not part of birth names in Mahesh Babu, and Pawan Kalyan, and this is a fact. There is no involvement from other editors doesn't make your point agreeable. There is no source for their birth names. This is a fact. The source is wrong. Fostera12 (talk) 17:14, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Fostera12 There are Telugu sources as well which don't mirror Wikipedia. You cannot simply call a source wrong without better sources. -- Ab207 (talk) 17:17, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
Occupations order edit
The current order is "actor, filmmaker and politician". I think the order should be "actor, politician and filmmaker" as political role is more prominent than film making — DaxServer (t · m · c) 14:38, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
- It totally makes sense... Jayanthkumar123 (talk) 16:23, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
Edit access edit
@DMacks Can you enable edit access for the page? I intend to fix some tags (vague, unclear statements), occupational order, and add some references. Nikh Nori (talk) 07:49, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
