250 or 500 Summary + Outline edit

For Paula Scher’s article, I would first start writing about Paula Scher was born on October 6, 1948, in Washington, DC. She is an American graphic designer, illustrator, painter, and art educator. She did her undergraduate degree at Tyler School of Art. Then I’m going to write about her education and discussion which school does she teaches. Next I would be discussing about her career life such as working for CBS Record and Pentagram. In addition provide information about her achievements awards she got for her work. I’m still looking for 150 album cover that she did for CBS Records. I want to create a gallery to present some of her exhibition and album covers. In addition, I want to create a section about her personal life about how she meets her husband. She also had written book which I’m still deciding if I should summary her books or list them. I also want to show some of the logo she did. I’m still researching about her more, especially what inspire her to become a graphic designer. Outline:

  • Introduction
  • Education
  • Career
  • Personal Life
  • Exhibition
  • Gallery
  • Book
  • The Brownstone (juvenile novel; Junior Literary Guild selection), Pantheon, 1973.

Class Peer Review (COM 232) edit

This article contains a great deal of information on Paula Scher, it just needs to be cleaned up a bit. As you know, a photograph of her would really help round out the article. Be mindful of words that can be hyperlinked to another wikipedia page, for example things like Pentagram the design studio, SVA, graphic designer, etc. And adding a gallery of her work is also a must. The "Career" section reads as a little too long, perhaps break it up with a few sub-headings? Overall, the article reads very well so far just get quite a few images in there of her work. --Sabinajm (talk) 17:53, 29 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
