Hi, I'm just a passer-by, but I want to report a (likely) error: the article reads that the concept of "knowing oneself" is "extremely foreign to Western philosophy", which is completely false, given that the Doric precept "nosce te ipsum", "know yourself" has influenced most of our thought through the ages. So, is this sentence to be corrected? Or does it mean something different from what I've understood? (In this case, maybe, it should be edited anyway in order to make it clearer.) If I didn't correct it is because I wanted to be sure it should be done. Thanks. --80.117.71.38 (talk) 10:36, 19 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
