Omni and CM Installer edit

I'm assuming it is OK for me to comment here on the talk page but not edit the wiki. (I'm not neutral in this regard, as one of the founding developers of Omni)

Citation 6 is inaccurate: The Omni developers are not working on an application that makes CM easy to install. Cyanogen Inc. did that for CM, and it is Cyanogen Inc that partnered with Oppo to preinstall CM on the N1.

That said - Omni IS working on an installer app of our own that will be open source and allow for easy installation of Omni AND other projects. In addition, the Omni team also has a pretty good relationship with Oppo - while Omni is not preinstalled on any Oppo device, many Omni team members were provided preproduction N1 units a month before the device was available for order outside of China. As a result, Omni nightlies for the N1 started approximately two weeks before the N1 was orderable by the general public. -- Andrew Dodd
