Fair use rationale for Image:D1-cd1.jpg edit

Image:D1-cd1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Erroneous romanizations edit

I recently noticed that the romanizations previously listed for あの娘を連れてワールドカップ(小竹哲也) ("Ano Musume wo Tsurete World Cup") and ブツバツナイスガイ(山内信秋) ("Nobuaki Yamauchi") were actually incorrect. The song lyrics make this clear, but I double-checked the liner notes contained in the booklets included with the CDs, and they confirm the intended readings with furigana:

as you can see, these confirm that in the first song, 娘 is intended to be read as こ (ko), and 山内信秋 should be read as やまうちしんしゅう (Yamauchi Shinshuu). :) 2A02:C7D:5B98:EB00:840C:7B17:D358:EB33 (talk) 20:46, 26 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Couple of notes edit

In the sections Ojamajo CD Club Vol. 1: Ojamajo Vocal Collection and Ojamajo Doremi Memorial CD Box:

Pirikapiri Lucky! (ピリカピリ・ラキー!)

should be written as:

Pirikapiri♥Lucky! (ピリカピリ♥ラッキー!)

I can't fix this since there's a filter in place preventing me from adding a unicode symbol to the page; if someone with unicode-adding capability could fix that, that would be fantastic :)

Also I'm going through and adding in cast lists for the CD Dramas; I have the Sharp CD dramas, but the cast lists for those weren't reprinted in the Memorial CD Box liner notes (it only had credits for the Secret Story drama), and I only have the liner notes for the Doremi CD, so I wrote up the cast lists for Hazuki/Aiko/Onpu's CDs by listening to the dramas themselves. There were a couple of voices I didn't recognize in the Onpu CD, so I left those off - if anyone has the CD and can fill in the missing credits, I'd super appreciate it! :) Carrehz (talk) 21:03, 13 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ojamajo DOKKA~N! BGM Collection Plus Alpha "First Print"? edit

Since 2009, the section for Ojamajo DOKKA~N! CD Club Volume 4: Ojamajo DOKKA~N! BGM Collection Plus Alpha has had this note:

  • NOTE: The accordion versions of "DANCE! Ojamajo" and "Watashi no Tsubasa" are exclusive to first-print CDs.

I'm not actually convinced that there *was* more than one version of this CD printed. I just scoured the net for a good half an hour trying to find a photo of one, and all of them contained those tracks. Additionally, I tried searching for various terms i.e. the album title and "first print" (in kana) and nothing whatsoever came up. Official sites like HMV.jp and Marvelous Entertainment's own site made no reference to a "first print", and this reputable fansite also did not note about multiple versions existing.

I think what might have happened is someone misinterpreting something on the back of the CD; the track listing lists tracks 1-12 as 第 I 部 ドッカ~ン!ニューBGMコレクション (Part 1: Dokkaan! New BGM Collection), 13-14 as 第 I 部 ボーナストラック (Part 1: Bonus Track) and tracks 15-21 as 第 II 部 初収録!おジャ魔女カラオケ・セレクション (Part 2: First Recording! Ojamajo Karaoke Selection). To me it seems clear that "第 I 部 ボーナストラック" simply means "Bonus tracks for part 1" - part 1 meaning, the first 12 tracks on the CD - but I could easily imagine someone misinterpreting "第 I 部" as "First edition/print".

I went ahead and took down the claim of there being a "first-print" because of this; if anyone can find any concrete evidence/proof that such a thing actually does exist, please add it back in (with sources!). Carrehz (talk) 20:59, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
