Deletion edit

Dear sirs! This Wikipedian policy of deleting certain stubs is getting on my nerves. Why do you get this sudden urge to delete something you know nothing about?? IMHO, leave it be until someone knowledgeable adds more material to it! Here's some info for you to digest while you're deleting other stubs: Nikolai Pogodin was awarded the Stalin Prize (twice in 1941), Lenin Prize (1959), the title of the Meritorious Artist of the USSR, and two Orders of Lenin for his contributions as a playwright. There's a short article about him in the Russian Wikipedia ([1]). KNewman (talk) 17:26, 10 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

You can always be bold and remove the prod and the notability tag (placed there for 15 months) and add some stuff form the Russian Wikipedia translated. -- Magioladitis (talk) 17:53, 10 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the article needs to be deleted, but it does need to be improved. Pogodin's biographical information is very small and there needs to be more information added. Was he married? Did he have children? Did he have siblings? There is likely more information on Pogodin we can connect to the page. Bryancohen1 (talk) 15:08, 25 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
