$0.02 Re wp:PEACOCK edit

Re user:DGG's useful tags. I've added an independent source Re the Institute (diff).

(...Yet w rgd to wp:PEACOCK, my $0.02 is that WP's referencing such things as the Maxwell Institute vision statements and whatnot Re its endeavor to promote faith-affirming scholarship are less "peacocky" than definitional; for example, the text and quote "in order to 'inspire and fortify Latter-day Saints in their testimonies of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and engage the world of religious ideas'" was removed (diff) after "The Maxwell Institute frequently sponsors guest lectures at BYU, as well as symposia, workshops, and conferences on religious topics[...]." However, doesn't removing this actually result in the Institute's being portrayed as more secular in nature than it actually is?)--Hodgdon's secret garden (talk) 20:13, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
