Boeing PB edit

Despite the current redirect, the original Boeing PB was not a variant of the PB - although the design was by the Naval Aircraft Factory, it was larger, and was powered by two engines in Tandem.Nigel Ish (talk) 13:59, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Agree it appears to be no relation, I had a note to look at this after it was created as it looked wrong, I though that Boeing PB should be linked to the Boeing Model 50 but it also refers to the Boeing B-17. Not a problem for this page. MilborneOne (talk) 11:25, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
From the Boeing Model 50 article, it looks like the XPB was supposed to be used in conjunction with some PN-9s for a long-distance flight, hence someone thought it best to redirect the page here. Generally that's a bad editorial decision, but it's understandable that someone would do that, since the Model 50 article was only created yesterday. - BilCat (talk) 11:40, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Btw, that redirect was created by User:Petebutt along with a slew of other redirects he created in April and May of this year. Not surprising! - BilCat (talk) 12:05, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
