Official Location

Now that the offical location has been chosen, should the potential locations be changed to places that did not receive the Hall of Fame?

The entire first part of the article really ought to be rewritten at this point, to reflect that. --Mhking 21:29, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Why is the {{Current}} template on this page. It is not a breaking news story that is going to have lots of edits. I am deleting it. BlankVerse ∅ 05:40, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

First Race?

I removed the line that stated Lowe's was the site of NASCAR's first race which is totally untrue. NASCAR was running races long before Charlotte Motor Speedway was ever even thought about. The first raceway designed with NASCAR in mind was Darlington in the early fifties and NASCAR was running races long before that. I think the first one was held at Charlotte Speedway (not related to Charlotte Motor Speedway). ZappaOMati 03:33, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Half the population of the US? Really?
