Location edit

Using Google Earth, I found Mrauk U to be near 20°35'45.90"N, 93°11'38.58"E. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 21:30, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Also, although Google Earth did not find a place called "Mrauk U", it does have a city nearby called "Myohaung", which I found to be another name for Mrauk U. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 21:36, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rohinga edit

The Rohinga is in no way related with Mrauk U and of no concern to Mrauk U. I agree if it was under Rakhine state or the Arakanese. But this is too much. Ask the Arakanese. Stop linking every single article that contains Myanmar or Burma with politics. They don't make sense. Uthantofburma (talk) 14:05, 28 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Revamping edit

To whoever comes across. I've done some revamping of this article. Many sources are needed, but like most of Myanmar - apart from some word of mouth and some published stuff, it's comparatively rare. Would appreciate it if you can help this article. Cheers. Uthantofburma (talk) 14:49, 24 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Town? edit

How does a "town" have a population of almost 200K people? Shouldn’t we change it to say it’s a city? I would change this myself but I am unfamiliar with Burmese settlement names and I don’t want to accidentally go against some established standard. HappyWith (talk) 10:03, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
