Madeleine? Madelyn? Madolyn?

Do we have a source for the correct spelling of Ms Hayes's forename? The status quo before recent edits was "Madelyn", recently changed to "Madeleine". I happened to watch a few minutes of "Moonlighting" Season 4 Episode 10, and noticed the spelling "Madolyn" on official correspondence from the IRS. Can this be taken as correct, or is it a joke that the IRS would misspell her name? Jean-de-Nivelle (talk) 22:21, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

In the scripts it’s officially Madolyn. Such as pilot script posted here:

Yes, it is subject to change, but it's been that way for a decade, and I used an "as of" template to indicate that it can potentially change. Please revert your revert.
